2021 Festival news...

Bittersweet, we know, that on a day when we should allow ourselves a smile as the first Covid 19 vaccinations take place across the UK, we have also to announce that the committee have determined it unlikely that either the government or the island will be ready for a ‘book festival as normal’ event by the end of April 2021. We have therefore reluctantly taken the decision to at least postpone for now, though we are actively looking at the possibility of running the event later in the year, presuming conditions allow. Do keep checking in either here or on our social posts for updates...


Our thanks for all the messages of support from visitors and authors, and hope to see you again when we can host our famed ‘literary lock-in’ again.
