Further to the recent change in Government approach and advice, it has become clear we can no longer deliver anything like the festival we had promised and in the interests of our audience, authors, supporters, volunteers and the local community, we have taken the sad decision to cancel this year’s Colonsay Book Festival. We hope that by this time next year, we will again be able to welcome all those who were planning to join us in 2020 for Colonsay’s famed ‘literary lock-in’. Ticket holders will be contacted and refunded directly as soon as possible.
